Job summary

BeOne Medicines seeks a Senior Manager, Biostatistics to provide project support for RWD/RWE analyses and lead statistical initiatives across studies. You will develop protocols, SAPs, and choose methodologies while collaborating with programming teams and external vendors.

The role involves analyzing large datasets from claims, registries, PROs, and EHR, preparing reports, and training internal/external audiences. PhD or MS with experience required; travel may be required.

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent in statistics/biostatistics or related field with 2+ years of experience, or a Master’s with 4+ years of experience.
• Basic knowledge of statistical analysis methodologies and experimental design.
• Experience with SQL, R, Python or SAS in a big data environment.
• Demonstrates interest in statistical research and novel methods in clinical trial development and RWE.
• Strong presentation, oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops protocol/SAP and determines appropriate statistical methods for RWD/RWE studies.
• Analyzes large datasets from diverse sources (claims, registries, PROs, EHR).
• Participates in database design to ensure data quality for analysis.
• Collaborates with statistical programming staff to meet analysis and external requirements.
• Performs advanced analyses and interprets results for stakeholders.
• Prepares oral and written reports communicating results effectively.
• Reviews statistics documentation when vendors are involved.
• Contributes to research on innovative statistical methods for clinical trials and RWE.
• Prepares and conducts training for internal/external audiences.
• Provides statistical consultation to other functions (clinical development or commercial).
• Solves problems by gathering and analyzing information.
