Job summary

BD is seeking a Statistician/Biostatistician to support product development, clinical studies, and business decisions in a regulated healthcare environment. You will design studies, develop statistical plans, analyze complex data, and communicate insights with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s or PhD in Statistics/Biostatistics, with 3+ years in regulated settings and hands-on R and/or SAS programming. Strong communication and regulatory familiarity are essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in regulated healthcare, life sciences, or medical device environment.
• Proficiency in programming, documenting, and validating analyses using R and/or SAS.
• Experience leading and influencing cross-functional teams without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, analyze, and interpret studies to support product development and business decisions.
• Develop and review study protocols, CRFs, and regulatory documentation.
• Independently develop and maintain statistical analysis plans.
• Program, document, validate, and maintain statistical code in R and SAS.
• Apply sound methodologies to address analytical challenges.
• Prepare clear statistical reports for internal and external audiences.
• Present findings to cross-functional stakeholders and contribute to publications.
