Job summary

BD is seeking a Statistician/Biostatistician to support product development, clinical studies, and business decisions in a regulated healthcare environment. The role partners with cross-functional teams to design studies, develop analysis plans, analyze complex data, and communicate actionable insights using R and SAS.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s or PhD in Statistics or Biostatistics with experience in regulated healthcare or medical devices, strong study design and data interpretation

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in regulated healthcare, life sciences, or medical device environments.
• Proficiency in R and/or SAS programming for analyses and reporting.
• Experience with study design, statistical analysis, and data interpretation.
• Experience with reproducible research practices and regulatory/compliance awareness.
• Knowledge of healthcare, clinical, and medical device regulations.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and analyze studies and experiments for product development and decision-making.
• Develop and review study protocols, case report forms, and regulatory documents.
• Program, document, validate, and maintain statistical code in R and/or SAS.
• Deliver high-quality analyses and insights across multiple products and platforms.
• Present findings to cross-functional teams and contribute to publications or conferences.
