Job summary

BD is seeking a Statistician/Biostatistician to support product development and clinical studies within a regulated healthcare environment. The role collaborates across functions to design studies, develop analysis plans, analyze complex data, and translate findings into actionable business recommendations.

The ideal candidate has a Master's or PhD in Statistics or Biostatistics with experience in regulated healthcare or medical devices, proficient in R and/or SAS, and able to manage multiple

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related quantitative field (or equivalent education/experience).
• 3+ years of experience in regulated healthcare, life sciences, or medical device environments with Master’s degree.
• Experience applying statistical methods to product development, clinical research, or clinical trials.
• Proficiency in R and/or SAS programming with documentation and validation.
• Experience solving statistical and analytical challenges and leading cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Experience managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Experience with technical report writing and presentation of findings.
• Experience in stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, analyze, and interpret studies to support product development and business decisions.
• Contribute to study protocols, case report forms, and regulatory documentation.
• Develop and maintain statistical analysis plans; consult for non-routine analyses.
• Program, document, validate, and maintain statistical code in R and/or SAS for data management and reporting.
• Apply appropriate statistical methodologies to standard and complex problems.
• Prepare clear statistical reports and technical documentation for internal/external audiences.
• Deliver high-quality analyses and insights across multiple products and functions.
• Stay current with methodologies and regulatory requirements; support publications and presentations.
