Job summary

Cytel is seeking an experienced Principal Biostatistician to lead statistical strategy across Phase I–IV trials within a sponsor-embedded setup. You will influence clinical development plans, SAPs, and ISS/ISE components while collaborating with cross-functional teams and clients to deliver robust analyses.

Ideal candidates have 8–10 years of biostatistics experience, strong R/SAS skills, and a PhD is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in statistics/biostatistics or related field.
• 8–10 years of biostatistics experience in clinical trials.
• Strong proficiency with R and SAS demonstrated in regulated submissions.
• Experience leading studies and developing SAPs and ISS/ISE is preferred.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead statistical analyses and interpretation for Phase I–IV trials.
• Develop SAPs, analysis datasets, and ISS/ISE contributions.
• Design studies, perform sample size calculations, and simulations.
• Provide strategic statistical guidance to cross-functional teams.
• Communicate complex statistics to non-technical stakeholders.
• Mentor junior statisticians and drive timely project delivery.
