This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the Biostatistics efforts advancing Natera’s oncology portfolio of cutting-edge molecular diagnostic tests. As a Senior Biostatistician, you will leverage your applied statistics knowledge to support the design, analysis, and reporting of validation experiments for multiple high-priority projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and communication skills.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Study Design and Analysis: Support the design and execution of statistical analyses for development and analytical validation studies, contributing to oncology product initiatives.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with fellow statisticians, bench scientists, and product development teams to integrate statistical methodologies into study planning and execution. Clearly communicate statistical concepts and findings to diverse stakeholders.
• Documentation and Reporting: Develop comprehensive protocols, analysis plans, and reports to support regulatory submissions and internal decision-making.
• Problem-Solving and Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify potential challenges, effectively communicate concerns, and propose data-driven solutions to project teams.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ph.D. or Master's degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Expert applied knowledge of statistical methodology in diagnostic medicine
• Demonstrated ability and enthusiasm for working on cross-functional teams with members of diverse technical backgrounds
• Proven ability to create clear and well-structured written documentation tailored for diverse audiences
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Prior experience with CLSI, NGS, genetics, and/or oncology testing a plus

COMPENSATION:

The pay range is listed and actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
