Job summary

Lonza in Vacaville, CA is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Technician – Bioprocess to support automated production systems and operate in a cGMP environment. This fully site-based role emphasizes documentation, safety, and regulatory compliance as you contribute to mammalian cell culture production across upstream and downstream processes.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED with 3–6 years of relevant experience and prefer AS/BS/BA in scientific or engineering fields.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• AS/BS/BA in Biological Sciences, Physical Sciences or Engineering preferred.
• 3–6 years of experience desirable.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation practices.
• Ability to determine and implement solutions to process issues.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain production systems in a cGMP environment.
• Manage inventory and process systems with accurate records.
• Participate in production of mammalian cell culture products (upstream/downstream).
• Dispense components, handle hazardous materials, and clean/sterilize equipment.
• Support Right-First-Time operations with detailed documentation and issue resolution.
• Use automation for production tasks and collaborate with the team.
