Job summary

Banner Health Corporate is seeking a Biomed Technician III to independently install, maintain, repair and calibrate medical equipment across multiple sites. The role emphasizes safety, documentation, and timely service delivery to ensure clinical readiness and patient care quality.

You will train junior technicians, coordinate with engineering and clinical staff, and travel as needed to support facilities. A strong electronics background and five years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electronics or related field or equivalent training.
• Five years of progressively responsible work experience with applicable specialty equipment.
• Valid driver’s license and eligibility for company auto insurance.
• Reading schematics and fundamentals of electronics; DC/AC circuits and microprocessor theory.
• Proficiency with Windows PC and network operating systems; basic LAN troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and calibrate a wide range of medical equipment to board/module level.
• Perform preventive maintenance and electrical safety inspections per standards.
• Coordinate equipment installations and service with supervision and vendors.
• Provide user education and trainer support to clinical staff on equipment usage.
• Document all work and manage parts inventory and service reports.
