Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a Biomed Technician III to install, repair, calibrate and verify medical equipment across multiple facilities. You will perform preventive maintenance, electrical safety checks, and diagnose system issues, reading detailed schematics. Travel to sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of electronics as typically gained from an associate degree or equivalent training.
• Two years of related experience with applicable specialty equipment.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance eligibility.
• Knowledge of electricity (AC/DC), motors, hydraulics/pneumatics, and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Installs, repairs and calibrates clinical equipment at a component level.
• Performs preventive maintenance and electrical safety inspections.
• Repairs patient care equipment and PCs to board/module level, reads schematics.
• Maintains service documentation and parts inventory; coordinates service.
• Trains field technicians and supports cross-site equipment installations.
• Works across multiple facilities, with potential travel as needed.
• Engages with customers to restore clinical capability quickly.
