Job summary

Precise Systems in Edgewood, MD is seeking a Senior Biomanufacturing Engineer with advanced experience in downstream processing to lead biomanufacturing projects. Qualifications

• 5+ years in leadership role executing pilot- or large-scale manufacturing processes.
• Experience with hazardous location operations (NEC/NFPA preferred).
• Hands-on experience in distillation, liquid-liquid extraction, centrifugation, and other pilot-scale operations.
• Familiarity with ASTM, ANSI, ASME, ISO standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of project-specific process improvements in the Biochemical DSP space.
• Mentor/train engineers and operators on large-scale processes and industry standards.
• Balance timelines, budgeting, and resources for equipment maintenance and process adjustments.
• Perform hands-on adjustments to equipment or train operators to do so.
• Create P&IDs with user requirement specifications for new equipment as needed.
• Coordinate commissioning and site acceptance tests of new equipment.
