Job summary

Catalent’s Kansas City facility invites a Senior Associate Scientist, Biologics III to join our team. You will conduct tests, participate in method transfer/validation under cGMP, and draft methods/reports for Large Molecules/Biologics development and related stability studies.

Role requires 2+ years of life sciences lab experience (or a Master’s with no experience) and skills in ELISA, cell-based assays, flow cytometry, and related molecular techniques.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or Physical Science with 2+ years relevant lab experience, or Master’s degree with no work experience required.
• Experience with cell-based assays and biochemical techniques is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with internal customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow SOPs with attention to detail.
• Train on 1-2 methods and perform ad hoc testing.
• Participate in method transfer and validation under cGMP.
• Draft methods, forms, and results reports.
• Peer review laboratory notebooks and method forms.
• Ensure safe, compliant operation of lab equipment.
• Understand Catalent culture and quality expectations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
