Job summary

Natera is seeking a Bioinformatics Scientist to join our Bioinformatics Research & Development team with a focus on cancer recurrence monitoring. The role involves analyzing high-throughput DNA sequencing data, developing novel computational methods, and integrating pipelines across R&D.

You will collaborate with molecular biologists and other bioinformatic scientists, contribute to experimental design, and help advance tools for end-to-end analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in bioinformatics, computational biology, computer science, engineering, molecular biology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience doing high-throughput genomic sequencing analysis.
• Experience with NGS data analysis (e.g., mapping, variant calling).
• Strong programming skills (Python preferred).
• Knowledge of genomics and cancer biology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze high-throughput DNA sequencing datasets with emphasis on cancer genomics.
• Collaborate with biologists and bioinformaticians to answer biological questions.
• Contribute to experimental design and quality control.
• Develop tools and end-to-end bioinformatics pipelines.
