Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in commodity market research and analytics.
• Direct experience analyzing US biofuel and feedstock fundamentals.
• Strong knowledge of US biofuels policy (RFS/RIN, LCFS, credits).
• Experience building and refining quantitative supply and demand models.
• Proficient in Excel; experience with SQL/Python a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Energy, Agricultural Science, or related field.
• Ability to extract insights and detect market trends.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain biofuel supply and demand models and price forecasts.
• Link agricultural desks with oil and middle distillates desks across the biofuels value chain.
• Track policy drivers, trade flows, and crush economics.
• Produce written commentary, reports, and house views.
• Present research in client presentations, webinars, industry conferences, and media outlets.
• Collaborate with data engineering to power automated data pipelines.
• Provide analysis to support client retention and growth.
• Own and publish US biofuels research and benchmarks.
