Job summary

Battelle is seeking a Bioanalytical Chemist III to design and execute complex analytical studies, develop and validate bioanalytical methods, and communicate findings to clients and project teams. The role supports discovery, safety, and efficacy programs, with 80% onsite presence at Columbus, OH and West Jefferson, OH locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience or master’s degree with 2 years or PhD in related field.
• Experience with chromatographic systems coupled to mass spectrometry (LC-MS and/or GC-MS).
• Experience operating, maintaining, calibrating, and troubleshooting advanced MS instrumentation.
• Strong experience in quantitative chemical analysis and bioanalytical method development and validation.
• Excellent analytical and technical reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, optimize, and apply bioanalytical methods for exploratory, nonclinical, and regulated studies.
• Perform qualitative and quantitative analyses of biological, organic, and inorganic samples using LC-MS/MS, GC-MS and related instrumentation.
• Prepare protocols, study plans, technical reports, and documentation conveying procedures and results.
• Engage with clients to understand technical needs and discuss results and next steps.
• Lead or support research projects, coordinating activities to meet scope, budget, and schedule.
