Job summary

Salas O’Brien is seeking a BIM Specialist/Modeler to support project managers and design teams on Mechanical and Plumbing models (LOD 200–350). You will develop families, templates, and details for projects in commercial, mission-critical, healthcare, and education markets.

You will also contribute to BIM and Digital Delivery initiatives, maintaining BIM content and coordinating construction documents, reporting to the office Principal and BIM Manager.

Qualifications

• Completion of a technical college diploma in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction.
• 5+ years of engineering drafting and experience.
• Minimum of 3 years experience working with Autodesk Revit.

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing drawing sets, plans and details with engineers.
• Set up new projects in Revit environment.
• Develop Revit families, schedules, and project details.
• Develop Revit templates.
• Develop and coordinate construction documents.
• May act as a coordinator on projects.
• Support the development of BIM content.
