This role oversees accurate and timely billing across government and commercial payers, resolves complex claim issues, and partners with internal teams to support compliant and efficient reimbursement processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end billing for Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payers
• Monitor, analyze, and resolve claim discrepancies, including follow-ups and appeals
• Partner with clinical, admissions, and records teams to ensure accurate documentation and authorizations
• Serve as a resource for complex or escalated billing matters
• Support billing audits and compliance efforts
• Lead aging reviews and communicate reimbursement risks or delays
• Mentor team members and support process improvements
• Stay current on payer regulations and billing best practices

Qualifications

• 4+ years of accounts receivable or medical billing experience, including skilled nursing/SNF billing
• Strong working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance
• Advanced attention to detail and analytical skills
