Job summary

YQN Logistics in Port Reading, NJ is seeking a senior bilingual Warehouse Manager to lead our new on-site facility. You will oversee a team, drive staffing, training and safety, and ensure operational excellence in daily warehousing activities.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 4+ years in high-volume warehouse management, deep logistics knowledge, and fluency in English and Mandarin. This full-time role offers competitive pay, Insurance, PTO, and a 401k.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience is required
• At least 4 years of experience in high-volume warehouse management.
• Profound knowledge of the logistics sector with a network of logistics service providers.
• Exceptional leadership, influence, organizational, communication, interpersonal, and teamwork capabilities.
• Fluent in both English and Mandarin

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of full-time employees, responsible for staffing, training, professional development, motivation, retention, and disciplinary actions up to termination.
• Propel workforce excellence by implementing progressive strategies in performance and productivity management. Provide consistent, equitable feedback, and offer coaching and counseling as necessary.
• Direct the operational activities within warehouse settings. This includes conducting operational meetings to ensure adherence to work instructions, workflow processes, and safety regulations. Oversee the accurate implementation of work schedules and ensure the quality completion of tasks.
• Administer the scheduling of employee time-offs, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Generate and distribute various reports essential for daily operations.
• Deliver superior customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain the security of the facility and uphold the integrity of the inventory.
• Other duties as assigned
