• 6+ years of hands-on software or data engineering experience.
• Deep Java development experience with large-scale data applications.
• Hands-on experience with Confluent Kafka and Apache Flink (or Spark Streaming).
• Experience deploying on Kubernetes and enterprise container platforms such as ECS or OpenShift.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable big data pipelines and distributed systems using Java and Kafka for real-time processing.
• Architect data solutions ensuring reliability, performance, and maintainability.
• Deploy and manage containerized workloads on ECS/OpenShift and Kubernetes environments.
• Partner with product teams to identify enhancements for new capabilities.
• Define and enforce coding, testing, and deployment standards.
