Job summary

Ascendo Resources, a Miami-based company, seeks an experienced Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to lead data operations and translate raw information into scalable revenue drivers. You will work directly with executive leadership to shape the company's future.

This standalone, high-impact role will build and mature our BI architecture from the ground up, partner with data engineering to streamline pipelines, and deliver intuitive executive dashboards that inform strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, CS, Business, or related quantitative field.
• 5+ years in a Data Analyst or BI Analyst role.
• 1+ year advising or supporting C-level executives.
• Advanced SQL with CTEs, window functions, joins, and aggregations.
• Experience building dashboards in Looker, Google Data Studio, or equivalent.
• Strong communication of analytical results to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets for modeling.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. and able to work on-site in Miami, FL.

Responsibilities

• Own executive reporting ecosystem with dashboards and KPI trackers.
• Advance analytics with multi-touch attribution insights.
• Provide proactive strategic insights to leadership.
• Write production-grade SQL to transform data into master tables.
• Enhance Looker dashboards and integrate BI/AI tools.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to optimize pipelines.
• Lead cross-functional data initiatives and answer complex queries.
• Present data insights clearly to C-suite.
