Job summary

Apex Systems is seeking two Lead Business Intelligence Engineers to augment our reporting and analytics team. You will design, develop, and maintain enterprise Power BI dashboards and semantic models across Healthcare Quality, HEDIS, Pharmacy, and Medical Claims initiatives.

Lead the development of scalable reporting solutions, optimize DAX and SQL, and collaborate with data engineering to leverage Snowflake.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
Advanced Power BI development and DAX optimization.
Data modeling with dimensional modeling and star schema design.
Advanced SQL development and query optimization.
Experience with large-scale analytical data warehouses.
Experience with HEDIS/Quality reporting and Pharmacy (Rx) and Medical Claims data.
Healthcare payer environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic models for Healthcare Quality, HEDIS, Pharmacy, and Medical Claims initiatives.
Extend existing analytic products and translate stakeholder requirements into scalable reporting solutions.
Develop and optimize DAX, SQL, and data models for performance.
Collaborate with data engineering teams to leverage Snowflake and other enterprise data sources.
Support testing, deployments, issue resolution, and ongoing improvements.
Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and best practices to team members.
Deliver high-quality reporting and analytics solutions on schedule.
Build scalable, performant Power BI assets.
