OPENLANE is seeking a Senior BI Engineer to own and advance our data-driven decision making. You will lead BI initiatives, design scalable data models, and partner with product, sales, and operations to ensure data quality and availability.

The role emphasizes proactive ownership, collaboration across teams, and applying data science basics to build predictive insights and dashboards using DOMO or Looker.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence.
• Experience with Looker or DOMO for dashboards and reporting.
• Advanced SQL skills and experience with relational databases (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, Oracle, SQL Server).
• Strong ETL/ELT development and data pipeline management experience.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, Java, Scala).
• Strong foundation in data modeling, governance, and structuring datasets for long-term use.
• Experience in data visualization and dashboarding (DOMO preferred).
• Proficient with Excel/Google Sheets for analysis.
