Job summary

Holland & Knight LLP in Tampa, FL is seeking a Financial BI Senior Developer to design, develop, and maintain SSRS-based reports and the BI infrastructure. You will query, cleanse, migrate, and troubleshoot data, providing analytics support to Attorney Practices and ensuring data quality across systems.

Responsibilities include building stored procedures, dashboards for Attorney Practice Groups, and mentoring junior BI developers in a collaborative, client-focused environment within the firm's

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business analytics, information systems, IT, or related field.
• 7–10 years of experience with SQL Server development (database design, stored procedures, triggers, etc.), Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services, Transact-SQL, ETL processes, Data Warehousing and Data Marts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain stored procedures, functions, and views to facilitate reporting.
• Design and develop dashboard reporting for Attorney Practice Groups
• Acquire and abstract primary or secondary data from existing internal or external data sources
• Perform ad hoc queries and assist in the development of reports based in response to internal and external requests using Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Server Reporting Services
• Develop and maintain databases and data systems necessary for projects and department functions
• Develop and implement data collection systems and strategies that optimize data quality
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior level BI Developers
• Interpret data and develop recommendations based on findings
• Daily review of data to identify errors and anomalies, resolving issues related to data inconsistencies and irregularities
• Special projects and duties as assigned
