Job summary

UPMC is hiring a Senior BI Developer to join the Epic Healthy Planet Team. This remote role offers workspace in the Quantum One Building (Pittsburgh, PA) when needed.

The team supports CMS, MIPS, HEDIS, UDS and other healthcare initiatives, with focus on data governance, quality, and value-based analytics. The ideal candidate brings strong BI, analytics, and Epic Healthy Planet experience, plus excellent communication and project-management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, HIM, analytics, statistics, or 4 years BI work experience.
• Experience with healthcare quality programs and CMS/MIPS knowledge is preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate system integration, testing validation, and implementation tasks.
• Maintain data quality and ensure data governance standards are followed.
• Develop and deliver BI solutions within Epic Healthy Planet.
• Create test plans and coordinate upgrade efforts across platforms.
• Mentor junior team members and collaborate across teams.
• Document processes and requirements for enterprise architecture teams.
• Provide end-user training and produce training content.
• Manage projects, track milestones, and report progress.
