Job summary

City of New York Department of Finance (DOF) seeks a seasoned Business Intelligence Developer to design, build, and optimize BI solutions using Power BI and Business Objects. You will work with the FIT Data Integration and BI team to deliver dashboards and reports that drive actionable insights for city services.

The role requires 5+ years in BI reporting, strong SQL skills, and experience with WebI, Oracle, DB2, and SQL Server.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in BI reporting, dashboards, and SQL.
At least 5 years with Business Objects and Power BI.
Experience creating, designing and formatting WebI reports.
Experience with Oracle, DB2 and SQL Server.
Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead design, development, testing and implementation of BI solutions.
Create interaction models and interface designs for IT projects based on requirements.
Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI and Business Objects.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications and solutions.
Support and maintain BI dashboards/reports across environments and users.
Collaborate with management, analysts and other technologists to ensure project success.
