Job summary

Elevance Health is seeking a BI Developer Senior to join our team in a role that blends hands-on BI development with strong collaboration across IT and business partners. You will participate in all phases of the design and development life cycle of analytic applications and reporting tools, leveraging Tableau and SQL across data warehouses.

The ideal candidate will report to Pulse Point locations and thrive in a hybrid work environment, delivering data-driven insights and scalable BI solutions

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or related field and a minimum of 3 years’ experience on one platform.
• Experience across BI tools, data warehousing and reporting platforms.

Responsibilities

• Engages with customers to determine business requirements and translates them into BI solutions.
• Collaborates with engineers to design web portals supporting interactive content.
• Develops and documents functional/technical specifications.
• Builds and maintains complex components of information systems and data pipelines.
• Mentors teammates on coding standards and performs reviews.
• Develops and tests dashboards/reports and fixes defects identified during testing.
• Establishes data connections to source systems and data repositories.
• Leads small projects and trains others in BI product development.
