Job summary

Vets Hired in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking a BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain data warehouses, ETL processes, reports, dashboards, and analytical applications that deliver data-driven insights for business decision-making.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, SSRS/SSIS/SSAS, MDX, T-SQL and PL/SQL, plus strong data modeling and visualization skills in cloud data environments. Knowledge of Agile/DevOps is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
• 5+ years with databases, data modeling, SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, MDX, T-SQL, and PL/SQL.
• 5+ years hands-on ETL and data warehousing experience.
• Strong relational and multidimensional data modeling experience.
• Experience in data visualization and dashboard design.
• Experience working in complex data environments.
• Knowledge of cloud-based data warehouse technologies.
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
• 3+ years with Azure Data Warehouse, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and cloud ETL solutions.
• Database or Data Warehouse certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data warehouse, ETL, and BI solutions.
• Create and maintain reports and dashboards using BI tools such as Power BI and SSRS.
• Collaborate with business and IT teams to gather reporting and data requirements.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity through testing and validation.
• Evaluate user requirements and recommend appropriate BI solutions.
• Develop enterprise and departmental BI applications and reporting solutions.
• Build key performance indicators (KPIs) and analytical dashboards.
• Develop interactive reports to support business performance monitoring.
• Perform quality assurance on reports and reporting solutions.
• Design end-to-end BI solutions to meet business requirements.
• Stay current with emerging BI technologies, tools, and best practices.
• Perform additional BI development duties as assigned.
