Job summary

Selby Jennings is seeking an experienced data/BI professional to produce insightful reports and dashboards for business teams in a fast-paced environment. You will query data using SQL, validate it, and build robust Excel reporting files to support decision making.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in data/BI roles, strong SQL and Excel skills, and experience with Tableau or Power BI. Financial services background and strong communication are a plus, with exposure to Python being a bonus.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in data, BI, or analytics roles.
• Strong SQL and advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Background in financial services preferred.
• Ability to connect data outputs to business use cases.
• Comfortable in lean, high-ownership environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Nice to have: Python and exposure to AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Produce reports, dashboards, and analyses for business teams.
