Job summary

CTG is seeking a BI Developer – Planning Analytics & Reporting for our client in Dallas, TX. This onsite role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining Cognos reports, dashboards, and TM1 planning models to support enterprise planning and reporting needs.

The ideal candidate has 9+ years of experience with IBM Cognos, TM1/Planning Analytics, and strong SQL skills across Oracle/SQL Server/DB2. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required, with hands-on analytics and collaboration

Qualifications

9+ years of hands-on IBM Cognos development experience.
Experience with enterprise-level reports, dashboards, and data models.
Experience with Cognos Analytics 11.x/12.x, Report Studio, and Framework Manager.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Cognos reports, dashboards, and scorecards.
Build and optimize Framework Manager models and query subjects.
Develop and manage TM1/IBM Planning Analytics cubes and TI processes.
Translate business requirements into scalable BI solutions with minimal oversight.
Troubleshoot report performance issues and data discrepancies across environments.
Coordinate with data warehouse and ETL teams to align with data models.
Support Cognos lifecycle management, deployment, and multi-environment promotion.
Configure and maintain Cognos security, including LDAP/AD integration.
