Job summary

System One IT is staffing a 12-month+ remote contract for a MicroStrategy (Strategy) Cloud BI Developer to support a federal IT program in Baltimore, MD. The role focuses on the reporting components of the data warehouse and ensuring accurate outputs.

Candidates should have 5+ years MicroStrategy development experience, Cloud experience, SQL proficiency, and familiarity with the SDLC. The position is remote with benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 5 years of MicroStrategy (Strategy) development experience.
• Experience with MicroStrategy (Strategy) Cloud and cloud-based tools is required.
• Experience converting MicroStrategy on-prem to Cloud is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of MicroStrategy product suite (Desktop/Workstation, Intelligent Server, Web, Library, Dossiers, Report Service Document).
• Ability to manage MicroStrategy objects (attributes, facts, metrics, filters, prompts).

Responsibilities

• Provides technical direction for maintenance and development of the data warehouse reporting components.
• Leads analysis, design, development, and implementation of new reporting requirements.
• Ensures testing and verification of new reporting processes.
• May act as a lead, planning milestones and deliverables.
• Demonstrates strong oral/written communication and teamwork with SDLC familiarity.
