Job summary

Viking is seeking a Senior BI and Data Architect to design, build, and maintain the analytical data platform powering reporting and decision-making. The role includes enabling self-service, AI-powered conversational analytics, and a governed semantic layer for natural language queries.

Based in Woodland Hills, CA, this hybrid position requires in-office presence Monday and Thursday plus one additional weekday weekly.

Qualifications

• Strong end-to-end BI experience across data engineering, modeling, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end BI architecture and implementation across data stack (ingestion, models, reports).
• Own Power BI semantic models and reports with strong performance.
• Bridge between data engineering and business analytics for consistent tooling and AI layer.
• Design analytical data models (star/snowflake) for reporting and NL querying.
• Develop and govern Databricks Genie domains with clear instructions and verified answers.
