Job summary

Cherry Bekaert LLP is seeking a Senior BI Developer to lead the development of analytics dashboards using Power BI across diverse source systems. You will collaborate with business partners to translate metrics into high-quality analytics solutions and work with DBAs to ensure the data warehouse supports current and future reporting needs.

The role requires 5+ years of BI experience, a DA-100 certification or equivalent, strong communication, and excellent time management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in BI analytics or related field.
• High School Diploma required.
• Microsoft DA-100: Data Analyst Associate or equivalent preferred.
• Strong communication skills, with experience gathering requirements directly from users.
• Excellent project and time management abilities.
• Eagerness for continued learning and delivering results.
• Experience with enterprise-wide reporting and analytics solutions.
• Proficient in Power BI and SQL/SSMS.
• Experience working with large data sets and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Create best-in-class analytics dashboards using Power BI across diverse source systems.
• Design dashboards with charts and visualizations to drive informed decisions.
• Collaborate with business partners to translate metrics into analytics solutions.
• Introduce new tools, technologies, and best practices for analytics lifecycle.
• Partner with DBAs to ensure data warehouse supports current and future reporting needs.
• Collaborate with SMEs to build solutions using approved data elements with governance.
• Ensure BI solutions comply with security, privacy, and risk/compliance policies.
