Horizon Next is a data-driven marketing organization that sits at the intersection of people, data, and media. The Senior Analyst, Business Intelligence, will empower teams with broader data access and contribute to scalable data products across our client portfolio.

The role focuses on developing data capabilities, dashboards, and education/adoption of data products, with collaboration across data engineering and client teams. East-coast hours are preferred.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or comparable experience.
• 2-4 years of analytics, business intelligence, or a similar field.
• 2-3 years of experience in media, advertising, or similar industry.
• 2-3 years using SQL in a work environment.
• 1-2 years of experience using Python or a similar programming language in a work environment.
• 1-2 years of experience with a cloud data warehouse like Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Snowflake.

Responsibilities

• Lead data modeling and reporting efforts for individual clients to ensure internal and client teams have the data they need to plan and optimize media campaigns.
• Partner with senior BI team members on cross-client data modeling and reporting efforts to make data accessible across Horizon Next.
• Bring together disparate data sources by building data models usable by technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Create and maintain automated data tests to ensure high data quality across all data models.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to bring new data sources into our data warehouse.
• Build and prototype new data products to expand BI capabilities.
• Build data visualizations and dashboards to surface trends and insights for business teams and clients.
• Mentor teammates through collaboration and knowledge sharing.
