Job summary

Brown Advisory Incorporated is seeking a reporting-focused analyst to support the Addepar portfolio accounting system and client reporting needs in a fast-paced, client-first environment in Baltimore, MD.

You will generate client and institutional reports, analyze investment data, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate, timely insights. The role requires 2+ years’ experience with FactSet, strong Excel skills, and a detail-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of analyst or operations experience.
• 2+ years of direct experience with FactSet (PA3, SPAR, IRN, etc.).
• Experience producing attribution and risk reporting for US and International equity and fixed income products.
• Strong Excel knowledge with large data sets.
• Extremely detail-oriented with client service focus.
• Proven ability to problem-solve with independent judgment.
• Strong organization and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Generates monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc reports for private client and institutional relationships.
• Produces analytics for managerial reporting.
• Analyzes investment data including portfolio positions, transactions, and performance.
• Develops, communicates, and expands reports for stakeholders.
• Troubleshoots reporting or process errors and implements solutions.
• Manages projects to improve reporting content and support strategic goals.
• Supports multiple business segments with project consultation.
• Demonstrates ability to influence and communicate key messages.
