Great American Insurance Group seeks a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst in Cincinnati. The role partners with stakeholders to turn complex questions into analytic products, building semantic models for consistent reporting and AI-enabled insights.

You will guide adoption, measure impact, and evolve analytics with business needs. The role requires 4+ years in analytics/Bi, a bachelor’s in a related field, and strong communication with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Requires 4+ years in business analysis, analytics development, BI or related field.
• Experience translating business needs into analytic products that influence decisions.
• Experience designing or maintaining BI applications or semantic models preferred.
• Practical experience using AI-assisted tools to improve analysis; ML development not required.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes complex business issues and translates questions into requirements for analytic products.
• Partners with stakeholders to define measures, relationships, rules, and meanings across reports and dashboards.
• Designs, tests, and maintains reusable semantic models for reporting and self-service analytics.
• Maintains metadata, data definitions, lineage, and usage guidance for AI-enabled tools.
• Develops end-user guidance and training to support adoption of analytic products.
• Manages analytic product lifecycle, monitoring adoption, quality, and business impact.
• Advises stakeholders on analytics and AI use cases and interpret results.
• Prioritizes opportunities with product managers and leaders to deliver incremental value.
