Job summary

DSM-Firmenich AG seeks a Senior Technologist, Taste Applications for Beverages in North America, based in Princeton, NJ. You will partner with customers, flavorists, sales teams, and consumer insights experts to translate flavors into beverage solutions that bring our ingredients and technologies to life.

You will manage flavor applications, lead complex beverage projects, and support commercialization while mentoring junior staff and presenting results to clients.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of beverage industry experience or 5+ years with a Master’s degree.
• Strong beverage formulation, flavor application and troubleshooting.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience developing beverage applications and supporting commercialization.
• Familiarity with pilot plant equipment and scale-up processes.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Manage flavor applications and technical support across beverage projects.
• Design and execute complex initiatives, developing beverage bases and concepts.
• Participate in the technical selling team and mentor junior staff.
• Lead customer work sessions and technical presentations.
• Apply expertise in flavors, ingredients, formulations, and processes.
• Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies.
