Con Edison’s UDR Procurement team in New York is seeking a quantitative analyst to evaluate battery energy storage system projects and forecast economics across NYISO markets.

You will build Excel models and other tools to simulate project economics, tariffs, and market scenarios, supporting strategic decision making. The role sits at the intersection of storage development, interconnection, operations, and policy, offering exposure to innovative program structures and regulatory frameworks.

Responsabilités

• Build and run analytical simulations in Excel and other tools to assess project economics for Con Edison, including forecasts and scenarios of wholesale markets.
• Create models to evaluate tariff rates, wholesale markets and perform data analysis tasks to support the program.
• Develop and support subject matter expertise related to wholesale market rules, regulatory frameworks for energy storage deployment and operation in New York State and applicable FERC policies.
• Use and evaluate company storage evaluation tools.
