Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field required.
• 7+ years of experience in U.S. benefits management (health, life, disability, retirement, and wellness).
• Proactive and collaborative leadership style.
• Knowledge of US and Canadian benefits and retirement plans.
• Workday or other HRIS knowledge.
• Experience with Benefit Administration Systems.
• Strong communication skills to convey complex benefits information to employees and senior leaders.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Requires sitting or standing at a computer.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, design, governance, and management of U.S. and Canadian benefits and retirement programs.
• Partner with senior leadership to drive benefits strategy and M&A due diligence and integration.
• Oversee annual Open Enrollment and benefit administration vendor relationships.
• Ensure compliance with ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, FMLA, IRS requirements, and related filings.
• Develop communication strategies to educate employees on benefits and retirement programs.
• Support mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other corporate transactions.
• Analyze plan data and benchmarking to improve program performance and cost effectiveness.
