Haleon, a leading consumer health company headquartered in New Jersey, seeks a Senior Benefits Analyst to join our Americas Benefits team in Warren. You will oversee complex benefit programs, support annual enrollment, and drive compliance and data-driven decisions.

Lead across ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, and FMLA while partnering with payroll, vendors, and HR operations to improve processes and employee experience. This role reports to the Head of Americas Benefits.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in employee benefits administration with data analysis and reporting.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex benefits data and resolve discrepancies.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with large data sets.
  • Experience working with benefit vendors, payroll, and HR systems.
  • Knowledge of ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA.

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Benefits Analyst. This position will report to the Head of Americas Benefits and will be based in the Warren, NJ office.

The Senior Benefits Analyst will combine benefits expertise, analytical capability, and operational discipline to ensure benefit plans and programs are administered accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable regulations. The Senior Benefits Analyst will also support annual enrollment, vendor management, compliance activities, financial reconciliation, audits, reporting, and continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the funding process from payroll systems to vendors for U.S. and Puerto Rico 401(k) plans, including analysis, reconciliation, timely wire processing, and issue resolution with recordkeepers.
  • Monitor benefit data feeds, eligibility files, payroll deductions, vendor reports, and system outputs to ensure accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies.
  • Support annual enrollment activities, including third-party administrator enrollment testing, employee communications, benefit fairs, issue tracking, and post-enrollment audits.
  • Assist with audits, regulatory filings, plan document updates, plan amendments, required notices, and other compliance deliverables.
  • Prepare reports, reconciliations, financial data analysis and interpretation to support benefit operations, vendor performance, plan governance, and leadership decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve the employee experience, reduce manual effort, and strengthen data accuracy.
  • Maintain and enhance internal processes, standard operating procedures, documentation, controls, and audit-ready records.
  • Support benefit and leave of absence related projects, plan changes, implementations, communications, and continuous improvement initiatives as needed.
  • Oversee vendor administration for medical, dental, vision, voluntary benefits, 401(k), deferred compensation, employee, and retiree benefit programs.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with ERISA, HIPAA, ACA, FMLA, COBRA, and other applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders, vendors, payroll, HR operations, finance, legal, and external consultants to resolve benefit, eligibility, funding, and compliance matters.
  • Research and resolve escalated employee and retiree benefit issues, ensuring responses are accurate, timely, and aligned with plan provisions.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in employee benefits administration, benefits operations, total rewards, HR operations, or a related function, with a strong emphasis on data analysis, reporting, reconciliation, and using insights to support operational decisions.
  • Proven expertise in analyzing complex benefits data, performing detailed reconciliations and audits, identifying discrepancies, and resolving issues with accuracy, sound judgment, and rigorous attention to detail.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ability to analyze large data sets, identify discrepancies, and present findings clearly.
  • Demonstrated experience working with benefit vendors, recordkeepers, third-party administrators, payroll teams, and HR systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex benefit topics clearly to employees, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and sound judgment.
  • Working knowledge of ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, and other applicable benefits-related regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting related financial accounting, budgeting, forecasting, reconciliations, and variance analysis to inform plan management and data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience with 401(k) plan administration, nondiscrimination testing, audits, Form 5500 support, and retirement plan funding processes.
  • Experience with HRIS, benefits administration platforms, payroll systems, and vendor file integrations.
  • Experience supporting annual enrollment, benefit communications, and employee education initiatives.

The salary range for this role is: $78,238 - $107,576 USD annually plus an annual bonus.
