Job summary

The County of Siskiyou seeks a seasoned behavioral health leader to plan, organize, manage and supervise an assigned service area within the Behavioral Health Department. You will develop budgets, supervise staff, provide expert counseling services, and coordinate with community, regional, and state agencies to improve care delivery.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree or Doctorate in psychology, social work, counseling, or nursing from an accredited college or university.
  • Three years of licensed clinical experience at a level equivalent to Behavioral Health Clinician II, plus two years in management.
  • License as Psychologist, Clinical Social Worker, LMFT, LPC, RN, PA, or NP is required.
  • Knowledge of behavioral health services, community resources, and applicable laws/regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, directs, coordinates, implements, and supervises staff in an assigned service system in the Behavioral Health Department.
  • Develops and monitors unit/program budgets; prepares performance evaluations and reports.
  • Develops policies, contracts, and collaborations with partner agencies to improve service delivery.
  • Represents the department in forums and coordinates with community, regional, and state agencies.
