Job summary

MassHealth is seeking a Senior Manager of Behavioral Health Strategic Initiatives to support the Office of Accountable Care and Behavioral Health. You will analyze data, coordinate financial inputs, and lead strategic initiatives across policy areas, collaborating with internal teams and external partners.

The role emphasizes flexible strategic support, effective communication, and the ability to synthesize complex information for leadership and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of behavioral health care policy and Medicaid/Managed Care.
• Excellent communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Comfortable leading effective meetings with all staff and leadership.
• Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills and data analysis.
• Ability to translate financial and program data into actionable recommendations.
• Strong judgment, attention to detail, and strategic thinking.

Responsibilities

• Analyze behavioral health utilization, expenditure, operational, and other data to identify trends and inform policy and planning.
• Coordinate recurring financial processes across Behavioral Health Policy initiatives, including budget inputs and timelines.
• Lead or advance high-priority initiatives spanning multiple policy areas or organizational priorities.
• Develop presentations, talking points, and visuals synthesizing policy, financial, and operational information for leadership.
