Job summary

Elevance Health in Denver, CO seeks a Behavioral Health Clinical Quality Analyst Senior to develop and conduct advanced behavioral health quality studies by analyzing data and patterns per department criteria, external reviews, and regulatory guidance.

The role requires a BA/BS in a behavioral health field with 3+ years of clinical quality improvement experience; MS/MA is preferred and CPQ or HCQM certifications may be required.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in a behavioral health related field required.
• MS/MA degree preferred.
• CPHQ or HCQM certification may be required depending on state location.
• Experience conducting audits and educating providers is highly preferred.
• Experience analyzing data and measuring improvements is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts complex behavioral health provider on-site audits and researches quality issues.
• Performs in-depth studies and prepares quarterly QM reports.
• Provides feedback to behavioral health practitioners on performance.
• Prepares corrective action plans in response to oversight requests.
• Writes policies, tools, and guidelines for audits and manuals.
• Coordinates information for regulatory audits and participates in tool design.
