Qualifications

• Licensed in Ohio for behavioral health practice (LCDC II, LPC, LSW, MFT, or RN with mental health focus).
• Experience in juvenile corrections or behavioral health services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Within scope of license, provides behavioral health services for assigned youth at Circleville Juvenile Correctional Facility (assessments, treatment planning, individual/group/family interventions).
• Completes discharges and aftercare planning; provides facility orientation to youth and families.
• Represents Behavioral Healthcare Services on IDT; coordinates team presence and documentation; maintains liaison with agencies and community supports.
• Contacts parent/guardian in emergencies; answers questions for visitors regarding programming; maintains documentation to satisfy applicable requirements.
• Attends meetings, participates in court hearings as needed, and pursues ongoing professional development.
