Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a results-driven Behavioral Data Scientist to design and execute digital experiments, including A/B tests and RCTs, and to analyze large-scale user data for actionable insights.

You will build and manage experimentation programs using platforms such as Optimizely, VWO, and LaunchDarkly, validate data collection, and collaborate with Product, Data Science, Marketing, and Customer Experience teams to improve user experiences and business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Data Science, Psychology, Behavioral Science or a quantitative field.
• 2+ years of experience conducting data analysis, experimentation, research, or KPI reporting.
• Hands-on experience designing, running, or analyzing experiments (A/B, RCTs, etc.).
• Experience with large datasets and cloud data environments.
• Proficiency in R, SQL, SPSS, STATA, Tableau, Power BI.
• Experience with Google Analytics or Heap.
• Strong statistical reasoning and ability to communicate findings clearly.
• Self-starter with collaboration and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute behavioral experiments including A/B tests and RCTs.
• Develop and analyze digital experimentation programs (A/B testing, RCTs, quasi-experiments).
• Evaluate effectiveness of interventions, messaging, features, and UX.
• Create and manage experiments using Optimizely, VWO, LaunchDarkly.
• Validate QA testing environments and data collection through the lifecycle.
• Generate actionable insights and deliver clear recommendations.
• Develop dashboards and reporting tools tracking behavioral and business outcomes.
• Collaborate with Product, Data Science, Marketing, and CX teams.
• Contribute to behavioral science research and thought leadership.
