Job summary

Collaborate with Learning & Development, Marketing, and Supply Chain to equip sales teams with product knowledge and market-ready messaging.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Marketing, Business or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Merchandising or Category Management.
• Bedding or Home Furnishings experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day SKU management for Bedding category.
• Develop pricing strategies to optimize margin.
• Analyze category performance and generate reports for leadership.
• Recommend assortment optimizations based on sales data, market trends, and customer insights.
• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with supply chain to ensure product availability.
• Manage and oversee bedding merchandising operations for assigned stores/regions, ensuring consistent execution of merchandising standards and strategies.
• Serve as point of contact for product vendors and build strong partnerships.
• Conduct regular vendor reviews to assess performance and opportunities.
• Collaborate with vendors on new product development, innovation, and exclusive offerings.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and promotional support with vendor partners.
• Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies.
• Actively participate in departmental meetings and training; assist with training other employees.
• Complete other assignments and special projects as requested.
