Qualifications
- Doctorate degree with 2+ years in drug development, consulting, or BD
- Masters with 4+ years in BD or drug development
- Bachelors with 6+ years in BD or drug development
- Associates with 10+ years in BD or drug development
- High school diploma with 12+ years in BD or drug development
Responsibilities
- Identify, prioritize, and evaluate early therapeutic opportunities across preclinical to clinical stages
- Lead strategic discussions with senior management and cross‑functional teams on licensure or M&A priorities
- Source opportunities via internal/external networks, conferences, and key opinion leaders
- Evaluate potential clinical collaborations with oncology programs
- Coordinate cross‑functional due diligence with R&D, Commercial, Legal, IP, and CMC
- Provide recommendations to optimize deal structures and valuations
- Maintain thorough records and communicate Amgen's BD vision to stakeholders
