Job summary

True North Advisors is seeking a grit-driven leader to head the Business Development team and drive organic growth. You will report to the CEO and lead four BD professionals, ensuring disciplined Salesforce usage, robust pipeline management, and cross-functional collaboration with marketing, investment, and advisory teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field is required.
• 10+ years of demonstrated sales leadership in wealth management (RIA, wirehouse, asset management, or platform-level BD).
• Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Deep familiarity with high-net-worth or institutional sales; knowledge of alternatives is a plus.
• Fluency with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and pipeline management.
• Excellent communicator and collaborator in cross-functional environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Business Development team of four professionals with clear accountability.
• Coach and develop the team to raise performance through leadership and industry knowledge.
• Ensure adherence to internal processes, including Salesforce documentation and workflows.
