The Role
The BC Sr. Consultant plays a key role in supporting customers by designing and implementing solutions centered around their business needs. This position involves improving processes, streamlining systems, and translating technical language into understandable terms. The role includes working with clients to optimize operations, configure systems, and ensure smooth functioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Clients: Work directly with client teams to understand their needs and requirements, and craft tailored solutions.
- Solution Design & Implementation: Design and configure Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions.
- Customer Support Optimization: Develop strategies to streamline customer support workflows within Dynamics 365 BC.
- System Integration: Integrate Dynamics 365 BC with other systems for seamless operations.
- Training & Enablement: Provide training and ongoing support to client teams.
- Reporting & Analytics: Use built-in tools to generate insights on support performance.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements leveraging automation and AI tools.
- Change Management: Support organizational transition to Dynamics 365 BC.
- Post-Implementation Support: Offer ongoing troubleshooting and enhancements.
- Collaboration & Communication: Maintain communication with clients and internal teams.
- System Configuration & Customization: Customize workflows and reports for clients.
- End-to-End Implementation: Lead module deployment from planning to go-live.
- Process Optimization: Improve finance operations for efficiency and cost reduction.
- Training & Support: Conduct training and provide ongoing support.
- Data Migration & Integrity: Oversee data migration ensuring accuracy.
- Project Management: Collaborate with project managers to meet deadlines and satisfaction.
- Stay on the Cutting Edge: Keep updated with latest BC features and trends.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with other departments for integrated solutions.
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Certifications in Dynamics Business Central
- Experience interfacing with end-users and gathering requirements
- Ability to build client relationships and articulate value
- Experience with full cycle BC deployments
- Successful on-site and remote implementations
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Understanding of Microsoft Power Platform
