Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Engineering.
• Three or more years related work experience.
• Advanced Degree in Business or Energy (desired).
• Experience with forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, or business unit financial planning and analysis.
• Knowledge of renewable energy project economics, including capital costs, production forecasts, operating costs, tax incentives, interconnection costs, and transmission considerations.
• Strong computer skills and automating manual processes using Excel, SharePoint, and AI (CoPilot).

Responsibilities

• Perform financial planning and analysis for energy storage projects, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, long-range planning, and performance reporting.
• Track and explain changes in project financial performance, including cost movements and schedule impacts.
• Prepare financial materials for internal stakeholders, including executive summaries, memos, dashboards, and recurring reports.
• Build, update and maintain financial models for Battery Energy Storage investments.
• Evaluate project economics, cash flows, capital costs, operating costs, tax assumptions, revenue requirements, and customer impacts.
