Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Sr Process Engineer to lead the development of manufacturing processes and battery designs for New Product Development in the Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) business. The role is based at the MECC and requires onsite work for most weeks with limited travel.

You will collaborate with Design, Operations, Quality, and Reliability to create capable processes, meet quality standards, and drive rapid learning cycles while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s with 2+ years, or PhD with 0 years.
• Experience in battery development/manufacturing within regulated industry.
• Experience with design for reliability and manufacturing (DRM).

Responsibilities

• Develop processes for batteries in a regulated industry and support design requirements for products.
• Design, develop, analyze, and troubleshoot during product development to optimize production yields.
• Plan and execute process validation and transfer to manufacturing operations.
