Job summary

Genius Sports in New York is seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead the basketball product suite. You will own real-time feeds, statistics feeds, Performance Studio, and Next Generation stats, collaborating with leagues, broadcasters, and partners worldwide to deliver data-driven insights.

You will balance technical, strategic, and executive-facing work, define a clear roadmap, and drive KPIs through cross-functional teams in an agile environment, shaping the future of basketball data

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of relevant product management experience.
• Strong basketball domain knowledge/expertise.
• Experience building B2B SaaS or data feeds/applications.
• Experience with agile/lean environments and backlog management.
• Excellent written and oral communication, including executive presentations.
• Experience delivering multiple related products or a product portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Own basketball product suite end-to-end from ideation through growth.
• Define and evangelize a clear prioritized product roadmap.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, data ops, and business teams.
• Set KPIs, build dashboards, and drive data-driven decisions.
• Partner with commercial, marketing, and operations for go-to-market.
• Stay current on basketball analytics trends and competitive offerings.
